It was an intense week here in Alyki and the southern part of Paros because of the fires, and we want to thank everyone who reached out to check in with us. We are all well, thanks to the firemen and so many volunteers who did everything possible to stop the fires and save property and wildlife. We are deeply grateful

We move on thinking of ways to get together and celebrate life, beauty, community and heritage.

We invite you to our opening this Sunday, August 9 at 20:30 to celebrate the 100 years of Kapetan Konstantis’ and Moschou Skandali’s family house, where our gallery is a century of remembrance, a dedicated exhibition to our ancestors and to an era, not too far from now but so different.
Please join us, share your own stories together with ours and see pictures of the newborn fishermen’s port of Alyki, of seamen who were sailing, trading and fishing in the rough Aegean and of little girls who travelled to the cities to work as maids, dressmakers, hairdressers or others who immigrated to America.
