The Naoussa Elementary School in Paros will host, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., the special musical performance “Opera of Kaminia,” in an evening dedicated to the power of lyric song and musical expression.

The event is held with the support of the Municipality of Paros and the Ministry of Shipping. As part of efforts to promote high-quality cultural activities in the Cyclades, with free admission for the public.

The Artistic Program:

Under the artistic direction of the acclaimed mezzo-soprano Irini Karagianni, the “Kaminia Opera” presents a curated program of iconic arias and works from the classical repertoire, through a contemporary dramaturgical approach that blends theatricality with musical emotion.

The performance aims to bring the audience closer to the world of opera through a direct and immersive artistic experience, accessible to viewers of all ages. As the artistic director notes:

“Opera is not a distant art form; it is a living organism that communicates directly with the human emotion.”

The “Kaminia Opera” initiative aims to promote the art of opera through performances, educational activities, and artistic workshops, reaching out to the general public and especially the younger generation.
