Ioannis Loukis was born on Paros Island, studied photography at the Leica Academy and continued his artistic education at the Aegean Centre for the Fine Arts. His practice spans photography, abstract painting, and physical improvisation, exploring the dialogue among movement, light, and form.

In his latest series, Forms of Light, he creates works on paper that embody the rhythm and atmosphere of the Cycladic landscape. Through layering, texture, and intuition, the pieces reveal a quiet connection between material and memory, between the island’s architecture and the shifting light that defines it.
