The recognition of the value of traditional rural buildings and landscapes is reflected in international and national law in recent decades. The event attempts to explore, on the one hand, the existing legal protection of these landscapes and the individual buildings and structures they contain, both drystone and otherwise, and, on the other hand, the possibilities for applying this protection in practice.
