Myrsini Margariti is a distinguished Greek soprano acclaimed for her vocal versatility across a wide repertoire, from baroque to contemporary music. Born in Larissa, she studied musicology, violin, and voice in Athens before completing two postgraduate degrees in Lied-Oratorio and Opera with distinction at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, supported by the Onassis and Jürgen Ponto Foundations. From 2006 to 2009, she was a soloist at the Halle Opera in Germany, performing key roles such as Pamina, Zerlina, and Euridice. Margariti has appeared at major international festivals and venues including the BBC Proms, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Valetta Baroque Festival. In Greece, she has interpreted roles like Papagena, Gianetta, Despina, and Clorinda with the Greek National Opera and has performed in leading venues such as the Onassis Stegi and the Athens Concert Hall. She also teaches voice at the Kodály Conservatory and the Conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Music in Athens.
