A new institution was launched last year in Paros, with the aim of promoting the island throughout Greece and abroad through classical music, highlighting the island's archaeological sites, contributing to the musical education of young people, and promoting cultural tourism by inviting distinguished artists and musical ensembles from Greece and around the world.
The first Paros Classical Music Festival was held with great success in September 2024, in collaboration with the Rhodes International Festival, the Municipality of Paros, and the cultural organization Hellenic Culture in the 21st Century, in the courtyard of the Holy Temple of Ekatontapyliani in Paros. The 2024 festival was opened by the world-renowned French-Cypriot pianist and composer Cyprien Katsaris, followed by the musical ensemble "Kerkezos & Vienna Saxophones," soprano and piano.
The audience enthusiastically embraced the new institution and flooded the courtyard of Ekatontapyliani.

MARIA CALLAS OPERA GALA
An opera gala dedicated to the ultimate opera diva Maria Callas, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of her death, with the participation of distinguished opera singers.
The concert will feature the distinguished Greek soprano of the Greek National Opera, Mina Polychronou, and the great baritone Giorgos Iatrou. The charismatic pianist Frixos Mortzos will accompany them on the piano.
The program includes arias and duets from the most famous operas.

TWO SOLOISTS – FLUTE & PIANO
Two charismatic soloists from Thessaloniki with a wealth of concert experience to their credit, flautist Nevart-Veron Galilea and pianist Thodoris Tzovanakis, are collaborating once again in an evening of chamber music as part of the 2nd Paros Classical Music Festival. The program of their concert consists of well-known works from the international repertoire.

The 2nd International Festival of Paros is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and is co-organised by the Cultural Non-Profit Organisation for the Promotion of the Arts and Greek Culture "Greek Culture in the 21st Century" and the Municipality of Paros, in collaboration with the International Festival of Rhodes and under the artistic direction of special cultural management consultant Ms Penelope Serdari.
