Friends of Paros & Antiparos

To mark 25 years since its founding, Friends of Paros & Antiparos invites you to a special musical evening on Saturday, August 1st, at 8:00 PM, in Platia Christou, Marpissa.

The Dryades Quartet blends classical refinement with beloved melodies from around the world. With a cosmopolitan spirit and a distinctly summery atmosphere, they travel effortlessly across genres and eras — from Bizet's Carmen and Astor Piazzolla's iconic Libertango to the timeless songs of Édith Piaf, memorable film music, and celebrated works by Mikis Theodorakis. Specially arranged for the ensemble, these familiar pieces are reimagined through fresh, imaginative interpretations, offering a new perspective on some of the world's most cherished melodies.

The quartet's unique instrumentation — soprano, flute, viola, and harp — creates a refined, atmospheric soundscape where lyricism meets the intimacy of chamber music.

Featuring Katia Paschou (soprano), Melina Makri (flute), Krystalia Gaitanou (viola), and Evangelia Kiosoglou (harp) — four accomplished musicians combining virtuosity with sensitivity for a captivating concert experience.
